LucentVue 4K Smart Rearview Mirror One (1) Year Limited Warranty

IMPORTANT: BY USING YOUR LUCENTVUE 4K SMART REARVIEW MIRROR (“PRODUCT”), YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (“WARRANTY”) AS SET OUT BELOW.

DO NOT USE YOUR PRODUCT UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY, DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT AND RETURN IT WITHIN THE RETURN PERIOD STATED IN CABALLO AUTOMOTIVE’S RETURN POLICY (FOUND AT https://caballoauto.com/policies/refund-policy ) TO CABALLO AUTOMOTIVE OR THE AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR WHERE YOU PURCHASED IT FOR A REFUND. PRODUCT MUST BE RETURNED TO THE COMPANY FROM WHICH IS WAS PURCHASED TO RECEIVE A REFUND. DO NOT SEND PRODUCT PURCHASED FROM AN AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR BACK TO CABALLO AUTOMOTIVE DIRECTLY.

HOW THIS WARRANTY RELATES TO YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state (or by country or province). Caballo Automotive does not exclude, limit, or suspend other rights you may have, including those that may arise from the nonconformity of a sales contract, except as permitted by law. For a full understanding of your rights, you should consult the laws of your country, province, or state.

LIMITATIONS OF THIS WARRANTY

To the extent permitted by law, this Warranty and the remedies set forth are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies, and conditions, whether oral, written, statutory, express, or implied. Caballo Automotive disclaims all statutory and implied warranties, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and warranties against hidden or latent defects, to the extent permitted by law. Insofar as such warranties cannot be disclaimed, Caballo Automotive limits the duration and remedies of such warranties to the duration of this express Warranty and, at Caballo Automotive’s option, the repair or replacement services described below. Some states (countries and provinces) do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty (or condition) may last, so the limitation described above may not apply to you.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS

Caballo Automotive, the parent company of the LucentVue brand, warrants the LucentVue 4K Smart Rearview Mirror and accessories contained in the original packaging (“LucentVue Product”) against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Caballo Automotive’s published guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser (“Warranty Period”). Caballo Automotive’s published guidelines include but are not limited to information contained in technical specifications, user manuals, and service communications.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

This Warranty does not apply to any non-Caballo Automotive branded products or third party accessories, even if packaged or sold with the LucentVue Product. The following are also not covered under this warranty.

  • Damage resulting from improper installation or use of the LucentVue Product.
  • Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, earthquake or other external causes.
  • Damage caused by use with third-party components or accessories that do not meet LucentVue Product specifications.
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow installation instructions or improper use of the product.
  • Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, and broken parts unless due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
  • Damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of Caballo Automotive or an authorized service provider.
  • Defects caused by normal wear and tear or the normal aging of the LucentVue Product.
  • Damage to a product that has been modified to alter functionality, style or capability without the written permission of Caballo Automotive.
  • Any LucentVue Product that Caballo Automotive receives information from relevant public authorities or registries that the product has been stolen.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS AS THE USER

Before installing or using the LucentVue Product, it is important to follow all setup and installation instructions as provided by Caballo Automotive. Incorrect installation, including failure to connect the LucentVue Product to an appropriate 12V automotive power source, may void the Warranty. You may be required to provide proof of purchase and additional details during the warranty claim process.

HOW WARRANTY CLAIMS ARE HANDLED

If during the Warranty Period you submit a valid claim, Caballo Automotive will, at its option:

(i) Repair the LucentVue Product using new or previously used parts that meet Caballo Automotive’s functional standards,
(ii) Replace the LucentVue Product with a new or refurbished product that is equivalent in functionality, or
(iii) Refund the original purchase price of the LucentVue Product.

Caballo Automotive may require you to return the defective product for inspection. A replacement product or part assumes the remaining Warranty period or 90 days from the repair date, whichever provides longer coverage.

HOW TO REQUEST WARRANTY SERVICE

To obtain warranty service, contact Caballo Automotive or an authorized service provider using the contact information provided with your LucentVue Product. A representative will assist in determining whether your product requires service and provide instructions on how to proceed. You may be required to ship your LucentVue Product to an authorized service center, and you may be responsible for shipping costs if the warranty claim is not valid.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caballo Automotive is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or loss of data.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

No reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to modify this Warranty. This Warranty is governed by the laws of the country in which the LucentVue Product purchase took place.
